According to figures released by the U.S. Census Bureau, Orlando, a major city in the Sun Belt, is the 71st-largest city in the United States and the fourth-largest city in Florida. The area encompasses Orange County, Osceola County, Seminole County, and Lake County. It is full of tourism attractions like the Walt Disney World Resort, the Universal Orlando Resort, and the Wheel at ICON park along International Drive.
While Orlando is known for its tourism hot spots, its ever-increasing population growth – an estimated influx of more than 1,500 people per week – is fueling construction in the region. In fact, in the last six months, more than 2,300 homes built in 2019 have sold in Orange and Seminole counties and there is more demand than there is supply.
